(Various Streets) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement and Consolidation) Order 2019 (Various Roads and Streets, Ulceby, Scunthorpe, Kirton-in-Lindsey and Eastoft) (Amendment) Order 2025

We are proposing to amend the traffic regulation order (parking restrictions), as detailed below:

Abbey Road / Spruce Lane, Ulceby

Abbey Road / Spruce Lane, Ulceby as shown on drawing YHN5006-23-11-01 Abbey Road Ulceby Rev B.

  • on the western side of Abbey Rd, Ulceby – a restriction of No Waiting at Any Time
  • around the junction of Abbey Rd & Spruce Lane, Ulceby – a restriction of No Loading 5pm to 11pm, as well as No Waiting at Any Time
  • on the northern side of Spruce Lane, Ulceby – a restriction of No Waiting at Any Time.

Bushfield Road, Scunthorpe

  • Opposite 56/58 Bushfield Rd, outside St Hugh’s School, Scunthorpe – a restriction of No Stopping on Entrance Markings Mon to Fri 8am to 4pm, as shown on drawing YHN5006-24-10-01 Bushfield Road TRO .

Chatterton Crescent, Scunthorpe

Devonshire Road, Scunthorpe

  • On the eastern and western side of Devonshire Rd, near the junction with Priory Lane, Scunthorpe – a restriction of No Waiting at Any Time, as shown on drawing YHN5006-24-12-01 Devonshire Road TRO.

Market Place, Kirton in Lindsey

  • On the northern side of the Market Place, Kirton-in-Lindsey outside 11 High St – a restriction to designate a disabled parking place for use by general disabled badge holders only, as shown on drawing number YHN5006-24-05-01 Market Place Kirton TRO.

Yorkshireside / High Street, Eastoft

The drawings above show the extent of the schemes. Please also see the legal notice / statement of reasons.

Any objections to the proposal specifying the grounds on which they are made should be sent in writing to either the Traffic Safety Team, Billet Lane, Normanby Enterprise Park, Scunthorpe DN15 9YH or traffic@northlincs.gov.uk not later than 6 March 2025.

(Various Roads) (Restricted/De-Restricted Roads and Speed Limits) (Consolidation) Order 2013 (Various Roads, North Lincolnshire) (Mortal Ash Hill (A18), Scunthorpe and B1398, Kirton-in-Lindsey) (40mph and 50mph Speed Limits) (Amendment No 18) Order 2025

We are proposing to amend the speed limits on various roads, as detailed below:

  • A 50mph speed limit on Mortal Ash Hill (A18) on both eastbound and westbound sections from the existing 40mph speed limit near the roundabout serving Gate A of the Steelworks to the Briggate Lodge (Forest Pines) roundabout also including the Layby off A18 adjacent to Raventhorpe Farm Road – YHN5006-SP-MORT-01 Rev B Mortal Ash Hill Speed Limit
  • A 40mph speed limit on North Cliff Road (B1398) Kirton-in-Lindsey from the extent of the existing 30mph limit in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 320 metres – SL-18-04-01 Proposed Speed Limit B1398 Kirton in Lindsey

We are proposing to amend the traffic regulation order (parking restrictions), as detailed below:

  • Enderby Road, Scunthorpe – On the western side of Enderby Rd (near No 104), Scunthorpe, a restriction of No Stopping Monday to Friday 8am-4pm on Keep Clear Markings and on the eastern side of Enderby Rd (near No 129), Scunthorpe a restriction of No Stopping Monday to Friday 8.15am-9.15am & 2.45pm-3.45pm on Keep Clear Markings. TRO – notifications

Our recent traffic regulation orders (TRO) are listed below when they need to be published. They will be effective from the dates shown.

You must make an application to the High Court within six weeks of the date the order was made to question the validity of an order or any provision contained in them on the grounds that they are not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that a requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with.

Notice is hereby given that on 5 February 2025, North Lincolnshire Council made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (4) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to amend the Order . This Order will take effect on 7 February 2025.

Notice is hereby given that, on 28 August 2024, North Lincolnshire Borough Council made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (4) and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to impose a 7.5 tonnes and over, except for loading, weight restriction on the length of Idle Bank between Thorne Rd and Wroot Rd, and the length of Idle Bank between Poles Bank and Cove Rd. This Order will take effect on 2nd September 2024.

Notice is hereby given that on 21 August 2024, North Lincolnshire Council made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 32, 35, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to amend the Order specified in the Schedule to the extent described in that Schedule. This Order will take effect on 29 August 2024.

Notice is hereby given that on 17th July 2024 North Lincolnshire Council made an order under sections 1(1) and 2(1) to (3) and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to implement a one way movement order on Teale Street and Percival Street, Scunthorpe. Teale St will run in a northerly direct between West St and Berkeley St. Percival St will run in a easterly direction between Frodingham Road and Teale St.

Notice is hereby given that on 15th May 2024, North Lincolnshire Council made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (4) and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to make permanent the experimental 7.5 tonne weight zone restrictions currently in operation, namely to (1) impose a 7.5 tonne except for loading weight restriction in the Ferry Ward Area Weight Zone bounded by the lengths of Road as described in Schedule 1 and as shown on Drawing No Ferry/WR/001 Rev C; and (2) revoke existing Weight Limit Orders as described in Schedule 2. Exemptions to the Ferry Ward Area Weight Zone are as described in Schedule 3. Exemption (2) in Schedule 3 has been amended to reflect the observations/comments made during the 18 months experimental period. The Order will come into effect on 30th May 2024.

Notice is hereby given that, on 13 December 2023, North Lincolnshire Council made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 32, 35, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to amend the Order specified in the Schedule to the extent described in that Schedule. The Order will take effect on 20 Dec 2023.

Notice is hereby given that on 11 Oct 2023, North Lincolnshire Council made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 32, 35, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is to amend the Order specified in the Schedule to the extent described in that Schedule. The Order will take effect on 18 Oct 2023.
