Woodlands Crematorium Memorial Garden
Woodlands Crematorium is the final resting place for so many that have been loved and lost and we thrive to provide a deserved setting and environment for all connected with our award winning site.
Main features
Crematoria, cemeteries, churchyards and burial grounds are sensitive and vital parts of an area’s green space network, and this is especially so in North Lincolnshire.
At Scunthorpe’s Woodlands Crematorium the team works exceptionally hard all year round in all weathers to maintain the beautifully landscaped grounds for the families who come to reflect and remember their loved ones.
Woodlands Crematorium is the final resting place for so many who have been loved and lost, and we strive to provide the right setting and environment for all connected with our award winning site.
The Memorial Garden is a consistent Green Flag award winner, not just because it is an exceptional place to remember, reflect and grieve, but also for its horticultural diversity and environmental ethos.
Enveloped by Brumby Wood, an ancient woodland teeming with bluebells, wild garlic and yellow archangel, the Gardens enjoy a supremely peaceful setting despite being situated in an urban area.
Woodlands is one of the council’s pioneering Green Sites, where the horticultural team grow many of their own plants and shrubs on-site and operate a raft of green recycling methods for re-use across its grounds.
