With less than three weeks left to nominate for the 2018 Community Champion Awards, we’re happy to announce the newest sponsor, McDonalds at Lakeside in Scunthorpe.
They are the hospitality sponsor, which is new for this year.
Cllr John Briggs, Mayor of North Lincolnshire, said:
“We are delighted to have McDonalds on board as the hospitality sponsor. It is wonderful to have the support of the local community and businesses. Without the support of businesses like McDonalds, the awards wouldn’t be able to take place – so thank you.”
Bob Meadowcroft, Franchisee at Bomead Ltd trading as McDonalds, said:
“Here at McDonalds we are excited to be a part of the Community Champion Awards this year; to be able to see members of the community be recognised for their inspirational achievements, compassion and hard work.
“It is an honour to support this event that creates an environment for local members of the community to feel valued and empowered. We are looking forward to meeting the nominees and winners for 2018 and hearing their stories that continue to motivate and inspire those around them.”
The Community Champion Awards at The Baths Hall are taking place on Thursday 22 November 2018.
The deadline for nominations is Saturday 30 September 2018. Hurry - nominate before it’s too late!
