More than 4,600 potholes repaired

North Lincolnshire Council highways teams will continue to carry out permanent repairs to roads, having repaired more than 4,600 potholes in the last two months.

A dedicated reactive team will still be deployed to respond to emergency pothole repairs, while other crews will be repairing larger stretches of road.

From Tuesday 29 May, the following will be repaired

East Area:

  • Normanby

  • Hibaldstow

  • Redbourne

  • Messingham

  • Scawby

    Urban area:

  • Gallagher Park Access Road (temporary repair pending permanent works)

  • Gunness

  • Bottesford

  • Ashby

  • Brumby

  • Frodingham

West Area:

  • Isle of Axholme South

  • Epworth C204 Owston Ferry - Epworth plane/inlay works continue


Cllr Rob Waltham, leader, North Lincolnshire Council, said:  

“We have repaired more than 4,600 potholes since we began Pothole Patrol. I want to thank residents for their patience - we are doing everything we can and will continue our programme of repairs, so please keep reporting them to us.”
