More than 4,600 potholes repaired

More potholes to be repaired

North Lincolnshire Council highways teams will continue to carry out permanent repairs to roads, having repaired more than 4,600 potholes in the last two months.

A dedicated reactive team will still be deployed to respond to emergency pothole repairs, while other crews will be repairing larger stretches of road.

From Monday 25 June, the teams will be repairing roads in the following areas:

  • Ashby

  • Barrow

  • Barton

  • Belton

  • Bottesford

  • Brigg

  • Crosby

  • Crowle

  • Epworth

  • Frodingham

  • Killingholme

  • Winteringham

  • Winterton

  • Planer patching in Bottesford, Burton upon Stather and Garthorpe 

Across the authority a reactive team will also deal with potholes that need urgent attention.

Cllr Rob Waltham, leader, North Lincolnshire Council, said:  

“We still have teams out in force fixing potholes across our area. I want to thank residents for their patience - we are doing everything we can and will continue our programme of repairs, so please keep reporting them to us.”
