The North and North East Lincolnshire permit scheme
The North and North East Lincolnshire permit scheme [509Kb] is intended to deliver public benefits by minimising the inconvenience and disruption caused by road works to all road users.
Anyone intending to carry out work on certain streets must apply for a permit which sets out how the work must be undertaken to minimise disruption. This includes works by utility companies and works carried out by North Lincolnshire Council and its partners. It does not include activities such as builders’ skips and scaffolding.

The North and North East Lincolnshire Permit Scheme Order 2018
North Lincolnshire Council (‘The Council’) acting as the Local Highway Authority approves the permit scheme referred to as ‘The North and North East Lincolnshire Permit Scheme’ and in exercise of its power conferred by Section 33A (2) of the Traffic Management Act 2004, the Traffic Management Permit Scheme (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2015 and of all other enabling powers makes this Order.
The Council Permit Scheme came into effect on 3 January 2018.
