Support for schools and academies

The Ethnic Minority Traveller Achievement Service (EMTAS) supports the schools and academies to ensure that children and young people from black and minority ethnic backgrounds achieve high educational outcomes and strive to reach their full potential.

We offer standard and bespoke packages of support. Charges vary according to the amount of specialist teacher/ teaching assistant time requested by the school and other components that schools/academies may wish to purchase.

Service Level Agreements are available in relation to:

  • Direct pupil support (identification of learner needs, targeted interventions for advanced learners with EAL and new arrivals, specialist EAL assessment).
  • Continuous professional development (bespoke in-house training).
  • Professional advice and support for school staff and Senior Leadership Team.
