Online library catalogue
View catalogue, renew items or join online
Sign in with your library card number and PIN to browse the catalogue, check and renew your loans, and place requests online.
If you are not already a member of our libraries then you a can join online by visiting the catalogue and clicking 'join the library'. You will just need to complete the online form and choose a PIN (Personal Identification Number) of four digits. Alternatively, see our join the library page for more details
You can then collect your card from any library in North Lincolnshire, bringing acceptable proof of your name and address.
Take a shortcut to our Facebook page, read book reviews or add some yourself; check out our events and activities; or take a shortcut to our local history pages. (To do some of these things, you will need to create a username - follow the simple steps after you've signed in with your card number).
You are still very welcome to renew your loans or place a request over the phone or in person at your local library
To access online services, you will need your library card number and PIN. If you don't know your PIN, please take some form of ID into your local branch or email us from the email account that you registered with. Please be aware we cannot give out your PIN over the phone, for reasons of data protection. If you are under 16, we will ask you one or two security questions.
Email and text messages
If you have given us your email address or mobile phone number, we can now send your 'item available' and reminder notices directly to your inbox or mobile phone. You can also set this up online by signing in to your 'Personal Record'.
These notices will not incur any of the printing, production, or postage costs associated with paper notices.
Please note: we can only send these notices to under-16s if their library card is 'linked' to an adult family member, and we have the adult’s email address. Please check with staff at your local library in you are unsure about this.
'Item available' messages
We will send you an email or text on the day your reserved item becomes available.
'Pre-overdue' and overdue reminder messages
We can send you an email or text reminder shortly before your loans are due for return. We will also continue to remind you after your books become overdue, to prevent fees accruing.
We have a range of ebooks available for download - for more information please view our ebooks in public libraries page.
