Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB)

The North Lincolnshire Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB) was set up in April 2006. It was set up to comply with The Children Act 2004  Its purpose is to coordinate and monitor what is done by agencies who work together to safeguard children, protect them from harm and promote their welfare.

The LSCB website brings together safeguarding information for children, young people and their families and the professionals who work with them. You will find information for: 

Parents and Carers - support and advice on keeping children and young people safe and what to do if you are concerned about a child 

Children and young people - information for children and young people on keeping themselves safe (split into relevant age groups)

Professionals – professionals who work with children and young people can find the latest information and resources (including safeguarding training and events, safeguarding policies and procedures, key safeguarding documents, Early Help, LSCB newsletters, key board members and their responsibilities, information for voluntary and community organisations and much more)
