Learning Disability Partnership

Information about the Learning Disability Partnership in North Lincolnshire.

About the Learning Disability Partnership

The main purpose of the Learning Disability Partnership is to:

  • help improve outcomes for people with learning disabilities
  • give them opportunities to ‘have a voice’ about things that affect their lives and their communities

The Learning Disability Partnership is a citizen partnership. It has two service user co-chairs and a professional co-chair. The partnership also has service user representatives from the local Time for Action Group, Gateway and other service user voice groups.

The Learning Disability Partnership meetings

All service users with learning disabilities, carers, parents or other family members can attend the partnership.

Representatives from Adults Services, the Advocacy Service, Health, schools and voluntary organisations also regularly attend the partnership.

At present, meetings take place on a bi-monthly basis on MS Teams. It is hoped that meetings will be face to face from October. These will be on a quarterly basis.

Formal sets of minutes and easy read minutes are available after each meeting. If you would like a copy, please contact us.
