Swimming at our leisure centres

Swimming at our leisure centres

The pool at Riddings Pool is closed until further notice due to unforeseen circumstances. The rest of the centre is open as usual. The nearest alternative swimming pool is at The Pods. We apologise for the inconvenience.

We operate four swimming pools in North Lincolnshire and offer a wide range of swimming sessions.

Ancholme Leisure Centre - five lane, 25 metre pool with separate teaching pool

Baysgarth Leisure Centre - four lane, 20 metre pool

Riddings Pool - six lane, 25 metre pool

The Pods - eight lane, 25 metre pool with separate teaching pool

Swimming is great fun at any age. Whether you want to learn to swim, improve your technique, get fit or just have fun, we're sure you'll find a session you enjoy.

Check out our centre pool timetables below and give swimming a try.

Supervision of children and non swimmers

Water based activities are great fun especially for young children. However water is hazardous and careful supervision is essential.

The following rules are in place to help us maintain safety:

  • A responsible adult aged 17 and over must accompany every child under the age of four-years-old.
  • A responsible adult aged 17 and over must accompany children aged between four and seven years inclusive, with no more than two children to every adult.
  • Children aged eight and over can swim unaccompanied.
