Programme changes

Occasionally we may have to change the advertised programme if an instructor is absent. We will try to cover the class with a different instructor, however, if this is not possible we will try to provide an alternative class. Cancelling a class is always a last resort.

Live streamed classes

Our live streamed group fitness timetable includes a variety of workouts that you can join in with at home. If equipment is needed our instructors will offer advice on what household items can be used instead of weights. The classes are suitable for all fitness abilities and the instructors will offer modifications to the moves depending on different fitness abilities. You can find the timetable above and the classes can be booked online under NL Active The Pods classes. These classes are currently free of charge.

Our live streamed timetable can be found in the section above. The classes must be booked online. You will find the classes under NL Active The Pods.

Classes must be booked no later than two hours before the advertised start time. You’ll receive an email that will contain a link to the class approximately 1 hour before the class start time.

All the live streamed group fitness classes are delivered using Microsoft Teams. You can access Microsoft Teams either via a supported browser, or by downloading the Microsoft Teams app for your Windows, Android or Apple device. Instructions will be given when you click on the link to the class.

Please allow time before the class to get logged on and set up ready to start. On some devices when you log on you’ll enter a ‘lobby’ and will then be accepted in to the class. Please make sure that your microphone is muted for the duration of the class. You can use the chat function to ask any questions during the workout. You can keep your camera on if you like. Give us a wave if you do. The instructors appreciate seeing people!

If you encounter any difficulties accessing the class or during the live stream and can’t use the chat function you can text 07766697585. Please text rather than ring so that it doesn’t interrupt the class. A member of staff will be monitoring the phone to provide assistance from a few minutes before the class start time until the class finishes.

If you’re struggling to see the instructor you can hover over or select their screen and a menu will appear. Click on the three dots and select ‘pin’. This will pin them to a larger view and allow for better visuals.

Make sure that you have a clear space to exercise and a drink of water to hand.
