The Northern Lincolnshire Broadband project was established by North Lincolnshire Council to deliver the Government's Broadband Strategy and is a partnership between North and North East Lincolnshire Council.
The aim is that by 2015, 92.5 per cent of premises in each area will have access to superfast broadband, transforming broadband access to residents and business across Northern Lincolnshire.
Over £7m investment has been secured to improve the broadband infrastructure locally, with £3.14m from Broadband Delivery UK (BDUK), £2.19m from European funding via the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)
